In 2010, Heisse Kursawe Eversheds once more made it into the JUVE Rechtsmarkt magazine's ranking of the law firms with the highest turnover. Apart from ranking number 49, HKE is among the top five law firms that generated the largest increase in turnover per qualified professional. This means that, out of the major German law firms, Heisse Kursawe Eversheds emerges from the economic crisis as one of the winners in terms of productivity.
Unlike other top law firms, Heisse Kursawe Eversheds did not have to let any staff go in order to maintain or increase the turnover, but recruited additional staff.
According to JUVE, the secret of its success lies in the pricing. "HKE is one of the first law firms in Germany that have turned away from strictly charging their services at hourly rates and increasingly offer framework agreements and fixed prices. Its success demonstrates that HKE benefits from being at the forefront of such billing practices."
