Praxisgruppe Patent Litigation vor dem Start
As of 1 January 2010, Hosea Haag, LL.M. will set up the Practice Group Patent Litigation as a new Partner at Heisse Kursawe Eversheds. Haag used to be responsible for litigation at Hammonds in Munich. Matthias Wetzel, also from Hammonds, will join in and support the team as Associate. The same is true for the future Associate Sandra Waigand who will focus on IT Law under the direction of Dr. Alexander Niethammer, but also has experience in litigation. Christoph Jonas and Reinhard Meyer-Borgstädt who are Associates at Heisse Kursawe Eversheds in the field of IP will also back up the new Practice Group. The new Practice Group Patent Litigation headed by Hosea Haag will be assigned to the IP Practice Group under the direction of Axel Zimmermann.
The Practice Group Patent Services for which preparations are also under way will start work in spring 2010 at the latest when the Partners and Patent attorneys Dr. Herbert Kunz and Dr. Michael Schneider join Heisse Kursawe Eversheds.

39-year-old Hosea Haag studied law in Erlangen, Nottingham and Berlin. He has been working as an attorney since 2002, with a focus on patent law, litigation and licensing law. In the course of his professional career, he worked for Bird & Bird and Hammonds.
38-year-old Matthias Wetzel studied law in Freiburg, Heidelberg and Taipeh. He is fluent in Mandarin, worked as a judge and is a licensed attorney since 2004. Apart from Patent Litigation, he focused on Intellectual Property Law and IT Law, in particular litigation and licensing law.
31-year old Sandra Waigandt studied law in Würzburg, Munich and Poitiers, and has been working as an attorney since 2005. She started her professional career in the legal department of O2, a provider of mobile services and later on joined Hammonds. Focuses of her work as an attorney are Intellectual Property Law and IT Law, in particular litigation and licensing law, as well as information technology.
